Position title: Talent Attraction and Marketing Specialist

Reports to:  Director, Neurodiversity in the Workplace

Neurodiversity in the WorkplaceTM is a non-profit consultancy that partners with inclusive organizations to design and implement equitable neurodiversity hiring and support programs. The organization is part of SpArc Philadelphia’s family of organizations. The NITW team is dedicated to the mission of designing a system where neurodiversity inclusion is a key component of the workplace

Position Summary

The Talent Attraction and Marketing Specialist will represent the Neurodiversity in the Workplace (NITW) program by strengthening existing neurodivergent talent attraction pipelines and finding creative ways to grow our talent pool. This role will be responsible for recruiting and screening candidates in addition to creating and managing marketing content to distribute publicly, representing NITWs brand and cultivating an engaged community of stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities (after training and onboarding) include but are not limited to:

  1. Implementing a recruiting pipeline for NITW candidates and partners
  2. Developing and curating content to promote hiring events and opportunities for engaging the neurodivergent talent community
  3. Identifying and engaging with adjacent organizations such as universities, bootcamps, service providers, and advocacy groups to create pipelines for neurodivergent job seekers to connect with NITW career opportunities
  4. Creating and advising on social media content to share NITW activities and build a meaningful online presence that actively engages our talent and partnership networks
  5. Managing external communications and outreach via email, digital platforms, contact forms, and social media channels
  6. Learning and following NITW’s best practices for employment-related neuroinclusion
  7. Organizing and presenting at conferences and events designed to encourage employers  to form partnerships with NITW
  8. Supporting internal content development for use at events and in delivery of NITW consulting services that support neurodivergent job seekers and hiring partners
  9. Attending regional, national, and international events as appropriate
  10. Organizing and facilitating events aimed at preparing neurodivergent talent pool for career development
  11. Performing additional duties as required by program leadership and partners

 

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree, plus more than 1 year of experience in any of the following: recruiting/talent acquisition, content creation, graphic design, community organizing/outreach, business development or any other closely related field.
  2. Some knowledge/awareness of the neurodiversity movement and preferred language of the neurodivergent community.
  3. Clear criminal and child abuse history; medical and drug screen will be required.
  4. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Experience with digital tools for content creation
  6. Knowledge of/familiarity with inclusive design and accessibility (strongly preferred).

 

Working Conditions

  3. This position may require occasional national and/or international travel.

Position is contingent upon funding.
