Position title: Senior Consultant

Reports to:  Director, Neurodiversity in the Workplace

Organization Overview
Neurodiversity in the Workplace is a non-profit consultancy that partners with inclusive organizations to design and implement equitable neurodiversity hiring and support programs. The organization is part of SpArc Philadelphia’s family of organizations. The NITW team is dedicated to the mission of designing a system where neurodiversity inclusion is a key component of the workplace

 

Position Summary
The Consultant will represent the Neurodiversity in the Workplace (NITW) program by spearheading partnerships through our enterprise consulting service. The consultant will work closely with company partners to coordinate, design, and implement company hiring/ support programs based on the guidance and best practices of the NITW team, in order to help us move towards our mission of neurodivergent inclusion in the workplace.

 

The position’s responsibilities (after training and onboarding) include but are not limited to

  1. Speaking knowledgeably about the topic of neurodivergent employment.
  2. Working with corporate partners in a consulting engagement to help implement methods for hiring and support of neurodivergent job seekers/ employees.
  3. Learning and following NITW’s steps, best practices, and resources for employment-related neuroinclusion.
  4. Interpreting the needs of partners and adapting NITW’s methods to develop a custom implementation strategy that best fits the context of each unique program
  5. Independently delivering quality consulting services for company partnerships
  6. Leading engagements with partner organizations
  7. Organizing and presenting at conferences and events designed to encourage companies/ partners to form partnerships with the program
  8. Supporting with internal content development for use at events and in the delivery of NITW consulting services
  9. Attending regional, national, and international events as appropriate.
  10. Performing additional duties as required by program leadership and partners.

 

Qualifications

  1. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree, plus more than 6 years of experience in any of the following: talent acquisition, human resources, business development or any other closely related field.
  2. This position requires experience launching neuroinclusion programming into a corporate environment
  3. Clear criminal and child abuse history, medical and drug screen will be required.
  4. Demonstration of effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  5. This position requires a flexible work schedule and occasional availability on weekends and/or evenings.
  6. This position may require occasional national and/or international travel

  1. Must be able to travel independently to partner sites

Position is contingent upon funding.
